Meopta Optika 10×42 HD Binoculars have a rubber-armored magnesium-alloy chassis that is lightweight (22.9 oz) and rugged. Field of view is 314′ at 1000 yds and the close focus is 9.8′. Daylight transmission is listed as 88%, while twilight transmission is 85%. The Optika 10×42 HD’s objectives are made of extra-low dispersion fluoride glass, and their BaK-4 prisms are both phase-corrected and dielectric-coated.

The results of Optika binocular are bright, sharp, and clear high-contrast views with accurate color fidelity and crisp resolution across the entire wide field of view—even in challenging conditions like at dawn and dusk or when peering into dense underbrush or thick canopies.

The Optika is designed with a comfortable eye relief and exit pupil as well as a wide angle of view that minimizes the distracting hand shake that is common with powerful optics to present a spacious field of view.

A lightweight and durable magnesium alloy chassis protects the optical components. This gives it the strength it needs for constant use outdoors while reducing the overall weight for easier handling and carrying. Ergonomic and slip-resistant exterior armor provides a sure grip.

Meopta binoculars feature objective lens caps and a one-piece ocular rainguard to protect the exterior lens surfaces. To keep the caps and rainguard safe during use, they are tethered to the body and strap, respectively. For those who experience fatigue when holding large optics for long periods, the Optika can be tripod mounted using an optional adapter for easy hands-free use.
