Leica Geovid R 10×42

Looking for a perfected symbiosis of viewing and distance measurement for your upcoming adventure?

Look no further!

The Leica 10×42 Geovid Rangefinder Binocular combines powerful optical performance with a long-distance 2700-yard laser rangefinder and ballistic computer into a highly portable and easy-to-use optic.

Leica‘s super powerful 10x magnification allows for detailed observations of distant subjects and its 42mm objective lenses boost light-gathering ability while ensuring the optical tubes remain thin for easier handling.

Leica Geovid Binocular Range Finders offer an amazing combination of ABC Ballistic, optical quality, and ergonomic design. Its ballistic measurement values are available in three output formats: holdover, click adjustment, and equivalent horizontal range (EHR).

At angle shots within a range of 10 to 1,100 metres the ballistic function (EHR) calculates the relevant shooting distance from the hunter to the targeted animal. Along with linear distance and angle, the algorithm developed by Leica always takes into account a realistic ballistic curve. It also includes barometric pressure and temperature – for fast, precise, and easy calculation of the right point of aim in the mountains.

Leica Binoculars range finding system integrates an inclinometer and ballistics computer with a powerful IR laser to improve first-shot accuracy. Its inclinometer measures the relative angle from the user to the target, then combines that with the linear range, to provide an adjusted distance to enable them to better judge the hold-over/-under.

Leica Range Finder‘s Advanced Ballistic Compensation system utilizes one of 12 pre-programmed ballistic curves based on common ammunition loads, combined with the adjusted range and environmental conditions, to further improve hold-over/-under accuracy. Users can also create custom curves on the Leica website and load them onto the Geovid, refining the precision even more. Hold-over/-undervalues can be displayed as the adjusted range, the relative angle, or in MOA/Mils to enable fast click adjustments to riflescope turrets.
