Burris XTR III 3.3-18×50

Check out the brand new series of Burris tactical rifle scopes for the year 2019. It is called XTR 3 and considered to be the new flagship series of rifle scopes. In this series, Burris introduces its 2 new rifle scopes – 3.3-18×50 and 5.5-30×56, each featuring a wider field of view than XTR 2, while also featuring an improved optics for even better contrast and clarity.

The smaller of the two XTR 3 models, the 3.3-18×50 model provides huge field-of-view in a relatively compact scope package (13.3 inches). There are three models in this size, with the SCR reticle in MOA or MIL, and in the new SCR2 reticle.

Burris riflescopes XTR 3 series is fully designed, machined and assembled in Greeley Colorado, USA with a 30 year warranty. The new XTR 3 line of riflescopes features new reticle designs and enhanced field-of-view. The series is inspired by tactical and competition shooting, precision and reliability are at the core of the XTR III line of optics. It allows elevation adjustments up to 120 MOA on the 3.3-18X50mm take the 6.5 Creedmore past one mile and expanded side parallax adjustment on both models allows fine-tuning focus at shorter distances.

XTR 3 riflescope has come up with premium glass and optical improvements, including a smaller eyepiece signature and larger eye box, provide best-in-class field-of-view, deeper depth of focus and outstanding light transmission. The new Special Competition Reticle (SCR) 2 MIL reticle features a gridded “Christmas tree” design, allowing extremely fast and accurate windage and elevation compensation and clear communication with spotters.

Both rifle scopes come with a big elevation range for long range shooting – the smaller model, XTR 3 3.3-18×50 has an elevation range of 120 MOA which equals 35 MIL. With such an elevation range and a canted mount, shooting past 1000 meters shouldn’t be a problem.
