Leica Geovid binoculars have set the standard in the field of laser rangefinding, and they have become the most reliable, accurate and indispensable companions for hunters. The latest Leica Geovid HD-B 3000 model allows linear distance determination of up to 3,000 yards (2,750 metres) for the first time ever. It offers a worldwide unique combination of ABC® ballistic, ergonomic design and optical quality. It presents ballistic measurement values in three different output formats: click adjustment, holdover and equivalent horizontal range (EHR). For each measurement barometric temperature, pressure, and angle are also calculated at the correct point with the highest precision. It comes with a microSD memory card, as well as, Leica ballistic calculator which allows them to measuring data perfectly according to the load and calibre.

With the latest model of Leica Rangefinders, Geovid has utilized Leica’s Perger-Porro prism optical design that provides a compact form factor of a roof prism with a rich depth of field and interference-free light path of a traditional Porro prism. To enhance the quality of image further, there is also an internal baffle system that suppresses stray light and also an HDC fully multi-coated optical system that maximizes light transmission, improving both color fidelity and contrast. It has an ultra-wide field of view that clears all other distractions and lets the hunter focus on the main target.

The range finding system in Leica Geovid HD-B 3000 Binocular integrates an inclinometer and ballistics computer with an extremely powerful IR laser that improve first-shot accuracy. It also features Leica’s Advanced Ballistic Compensation system that utilizes one of 12 pre-programmed ballistic curves that are based on common ammunition loads. Each curve is combined with the adjusted range and environmental conditions, which further improves both hold-over and hold-under accuracy.

If you are interested in creating your own curves, Geovid allows you to create create custom curves on the Leica website and quickly load them onto the Geovid, which will refine the precision even more.

The Leica AquaDura® coating on the outer glass surfaces is dirt and water  repellent that granting better vision to ther hunter even in rain. Together hese features of Leica Geovid binoculars guarantee optimum use even in extreme and bad weather conditions or high humidity.
